Attempting to “unsubscribe” from spam email can be counterproductive. In attempting to send an unsubscribe request, you are confirming that your email address is “live” and being monitored - effectively attracting yet more spam email.


While it is almost impossible to prevent unwanted email from being received in your mailbox, for persistent material received from specific senders, you can “block” the sender. Mail or contact received from senders that you add to your block-list can be automatically deleted.
