This number is registered to your Apple ID

I am getting the following message on my iPhone but I don't know what it means. The phone number that is listed in the message is the phone's number.

"This number is registered to your Apple ID, but is not associated with this phone. You can keep using the number for iMessage and Face Time until it Expires. Remove from iMessages and Face Time."

20 days left.

iMessage bubbles are green. Received an alert on phone Oct 17 2024 Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used on a new iPhone. I don't have a new phone. Also received message on iPad Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for FaceTime on a new iPhone.
