Shortcuts - Automation not working

Hi All,

I have updated to iOS 16.

I have created an automation in the shortcuts app. e.g. to send an sms to to a recipient with a standard message "Test"

Issue : At the set time the shortcut pops up and I need to manually open it and click send.

To resolve this I add this automation as a shortcut and to run this shortcut at a specified time e.g. 10 PM

At 10 PM the shortcut didn't run by itself. It just popped up and I had to manually hit on send for the message to go.

Either ways the automation part doesn't work as required. If I set automation at a specified time then too it's not automated. Only the shortcut / automation opens up at the specified time but still manual intervention is required.

Somehow, this defies the name of the feature - Automation in the shortcuts app.

Anyone tried the same please let me know.
