I have checked and do not know how to fix my problem. I tried to share a not via iMessage and it kept saying “collaboration not available. Unable to start collaboration” i managed to email it, but I can’t fix it over iMessage. Please help

my phone is not letting me share/ collaborate a note with another iPhone user and I have tried using the suggestions on the article and i don’t know what else to do. I can receive my husband’s shared notes from his iPhone.

Hi VictoriaBooks,

The steps in the resource linked to your post, If you can't share or collaborate on notes with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, are the best to take for this issue.

You mentioned you tried the steps and that you can receive your husband's Notes. Is this also from Messages? If so, the issue might something with the other user. Is it possible they don't have enough iCloud storage?

"Make sure everyone has enough storage

You need enough storage available in iCloud and on your device to collaborate on notes. You can make space or upgrade to iCloud+ for more storage.

Make sure the person you're trying to share with also has enough storage available. You might not see changes that were made to shared notes if there's not enough storage on your device or in your iCloud account."

We also recommend restarting the devices and keeping them updated as those steps assure you have cleared out any minor software issues and are running the most current version.
