You cannot transfer music directly to other mobile devices/external devices using an iPad/iPhone.

No iOS/iPadOS devices have the ability to do this.

This has never, ever been possible.

To transfer digital audio files to other external devices requires the need/use of a newer Mac using the macOS Finder or an older Mac or Windows PC using the iTunes application to transfer data ( like digital music files) from iPad/iPhone to the Mac or Windows PC.

Once the data is in a full Mac or Windows PC, it can be stored on other external devices.

You can look at these audio headphones.

The digital file storage using the same flash storage memory as a comnplace USB flash drive stick, meaning the flash memory drive, in these heqdphones, must be loaded, via USB connection from a Mac or PC.

Transfer of data from iPad to any extenal drive or device is, currently, NOT supported.

Use of external drives with iOS/iPadOS devices is currently a one-way transfer. Into the iOS/iPadOS device, but NOT out from the iOS/iPadOS device into the external device.

Use of a Mac or Windows PC is required/essential.
