so i need to buy a version with physical sim tray
he told me “no carrier” this means it have a sim tray

You cannot buy an iPhone in the US. with a SIM tray. No carrier means it is not locked to a carrier, you can use it with any carrier service, it has nothing to do with having a SIM tray.
