Question marks instead of pictures

Why am I getting blue question marks instead of pictures on some websites?

Safari is not loading pics on some web sites Some web sites pics will not load. Instead, I get a square with a small blue square containing a question mark. Why did this start happening? The web sites will load correctly on my iPhone.

Blue Box Question Marks in Safari I'm finding that within Safari web pages, some images/links are showing as a white question mark in a blue box instead of the image. This is happening in both normal and safe made. The links still work, it's just the image that not showing properly

I understand some page elements are occasionally missing. There are a number of possible causes. If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn't working as expected - Apple Support has some suggestions to review.
