Attachments in Outlook for Mac are shown without a preview

Since the update to macOS Ventura, attachment previews have disappeared in Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Many Apple users are affected by this and have shared it on Microsoft and Adobe forums. I didn't see this topic on the Apple forums, so I'm posting this now.

My specs:

iMac Apple M1 with macOS Ventura 13.0.1 (latest)

Microsoft Outlook for Mac 16.67 (latest)

Read Microsoft discussion

Read Adobe discussion

The attachments were normally shown with a preview, these are PDF, EPS, JPG, PNG files (possibly other extensions) that are now shown as a blank icon without a preview.

iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021, 2 ports)

Finder show the correct icons in list view.

Other app (included Mail and Safari, Chrome, NimbleCommander) looks like are not able to load the icons ... not for MsOffice also.

Same issue for me. Thought at first I was having issue with Adobe. Removed and reinstalled the whole suit of adobe programs and didn't fix it. Then, "factory" reset my Macbook Pro 2020 and did a fresh install of MacOS Ventura to no avail, still icon seems missing when attaching .pdf's to Mail app and Outlook when Adobe is set as the default .pdf program.

I have the same issue and Outlook support for Mac is washing their hands on the issue as well. So how do we get anyone at Apple to look into this? This is very frustrating and Apple needs to step up and figure this out...

@apple please find a solution and let us all know when it is solved.

Same issue, after upgrading to OS Ventura I noticed mail attachment icons are not loading the usual file preview icon so I'm relying on the extension to know what type of document was attached.
