Calendar on iPad only shows dots

Can Apple not go back to showing text again on Monthly Calendar?

The technology exists. The old way was better. It was so helpful for me and others. Dots don't do anything because that could be a Birthday, Holiday, or anything. I need to easily glance at the month and know who/what is supposed to be where/when. I have to open my Out of Date Ipad to easily go thru my year.

If I am on the phone with a client, I prefer a glance, not pressing on each date with a dot because they all will have dots eventually.
