Quickbooks alternative?

I have been using QB 2020 but they screwed it up with the updates and now it appears there are no standalone versions upon which to upgrade. I don't want an online subscription and I don't want to move my accounts to online. Wondering if there is a good alternative. I looked for a standalone 2022, but they are not available on Amazon... so it looks like Intuit is trying to force everyone into a subscription model.
