Apple TV 4K (2nd gen)

Hello!

I recently bought a Bravia 4K smart tv. Found out too late that it doesn’t support my Apple TV 4K. Is the Apple TV now basically useless, ready to be sold?

doubt that is true, like a game console the appletv connects to the display and bypass all smart about the tv

one need just choose the hdmi port the appletv is connected to as active input source,

i have both my appletv and my old xbox connected to my pretty new LG tv without any problems at all

The Appletv box offer the same thing as it did before, not just games, if your smart tv offer the same feature would Hardy be something you can blame on apple… the console part was only to compare I could have used a dvd, blue ray or vhs player as example.

Thank you for your helpful reply. The problem is I don’t play games and I can’t think of any other reasons to get content that is accessible solely via my Apple TV 4K.
