Apple Books highlighting bug -- no way to inform Apple, what should I do?

This site will definitely accept attachments. In fact, they won't even look at your report until you submit an extensive set of completely irrelevant attachments.

I was able to reproduce the bug you describe pretty easily. I wouldn't worry about it or expect it to get fixed. Apple Books is just an HTML viewer. This kind of highlighting, especially across paragraph tags, is really tricky. Apple has done a good job of hiding the internal mess of how they built the app, but sometimes something like this pokes out. I'm afraid it is as good as it's going to get.

It’s possible, in theory. But there are more bugs than engineers to fix them. And it’s Apple. They have their own bug classification system that includes bugs being reported on the nightly news.
