How do I verify my account information on computer for Apple TV

Go to the Store menu in iTunes and select Authorize this Computer. Once the computer is authorized, make sure your ATV is logged into the same account from the iTunes Store menu on the ATV.

If de/re authorising your account by following capahos advice, doesn't work (it may well do), you might have to go into your account and check that your credit card details are correct etc etc, even if they are, try entering them again and saving.
