How come I have no money in my Apple Pay balance funds to upgrade my phone and my iPad
Add money to my Apple account pay to upgrade and update for storage.

- Apple Pay and your Apple account are 2 different things.
- Apple Pay holds no balance. The Apple Cash card may hold some balance and you can add that balance to your Apple account. click here ➜ Add money to your Apple Account balance - Apple Support
- You cannot upgrade the local storage capacity of iOS devices, you can only buy iCloud Storage on an apple server which does not affect your device's local storage capacity in any way.
- If you added money to your Apple Account, it will be used for all your purchases and subscriptions automatically until it's depleted.
