Apple Pencil (generation 1) pairing
I am trying to pair my Apple Pencil first generation to my new iPad, but it won’t show up when plugged in. Am I doing something wrong?

How are you plugging it in exactly?
Your Tag line mentions a 10th generation iPad, that model requires an adapter to connect the Pencil to the iPad's USB-C port. It cannot be connected directly.

I assume by "charger" you mean cable. The Charger is the block that plugs into the wall.
If so, then has the Pencil been sitting without charge for an extended period of time? Does it work with other iPads without the adapter?
