Thanks for reaching out kiersten135,

It sounds like you're having trouble pairing your Apple Watch to your iPhone. We can help.

A great place to start is with these steps If you can't pair an Apple Watch with your iPhone, in particular:

If the pairing process stalls

If it seems like the pairing process has stalled — for example, the pairing animation remains on the screen for several minutes — resetting your Apple Watch might help:
1. Press and hold the Digital Crown while your Apple Watch is in pairing mode.
2. Tap Reset when it appears on your watch.
3. After your watch resets, you can pair again.

In addition, we recommend ensuring that your iPhone is on the latest iOS version, as it affects the watchOS versions you have available to you. You can update your iPhone using: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Once complete, restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch to ensure they have a fresh connection to each other using:

Lastly, if the same behavior occurs, we'd recommend trying to connect to a different Wi-Fi network to see if that may be contributing to the behavior. This will help us isolate the behavior further.

If the steps above don't help resolve this for you, reach out to Apple directly for additional assistance using: Official Apple Support

Hope that helps.

Take care.
