Apple ID linked to a wrong Phone number

Recently I got a new phone and tried to start it using the old one

I have an Apple ID which seems to be linked to an unknown number to me

When I tried to recover my account, I have informed that I didn´t know the associated number, which then asked me my birthdate and 2 security questions,

Of course, I know my birthdate, but I know for sure both answers to the questions, I´m simply not getting it right (if camel case, or in my mother tong...)

So I´m not able to get signed to my account and therefore not able to install my apps,

But my point here is,

My Apple ID is an old Hotmail email address that I use still today, and have access to it, and why I´m not allowed to verify my ID by validating that I have access to my email

Moreover, besides the 3 steps automated recovery process, why it´s so difficult to get some help in this subject?

Finally, to be able to post my question here I had to have a second Apple account to be able to

Can someone help me?

And please, don´t point me anymore to the 3 steps validation which doesn´t work for
