I ordered my Apple iPad 10 from Apple.com and it arrived in a sealed box as expected. When I opened the box and unwrapped the iPad it was already powered on - it lit up to the “hello” screen and showed 95% battery. Is this normal or has my iPad been tampered with? Do new iPads arrive turned on in the box new from factory? Should I be worried?

No doubt this is what you did while unwrapping it.
Had it been awake the whole time since boxing the battery would have been at 0.0 %.

Perfectly normal. Apple devices are charged when they arrive.
Thank you, but the iPad was actually powered on when I opened and unwrapped it. I didn’t press the on button - it was powered up already? Is this even possible that it would arrive already turned on?
