How do I download imessages app to my mackbook (mojave)?
I don't have the imessages/messages app on my computer (OS Mojave 10.14.6). How can I download it? I don't see it on the appstore either...
thanks.

FYI. yes. There is. My computer is in spanish, but I have this app in my Launchpad. If its in the launchpad, it's an app. right? It even allows me to connect to my phone.
The Mac messages app has a green logo. The google messages app is blue.
Messages is included as part of Mojave. There is no separate download. If it's really missing from the Applications folder you would have to reinstall Mojave.
Yes. its really missing. I guess I will have to live without it. Its not worth going through reinstalling the entire program to get it back.
But thanks for the info!
You're welcome. I'm surprised it's missing. Normally you can't delete an app that is included with macOS.
no idea how i managed it! I have messages by google, but not by mac. Mysteries of the universe...
There is no Google Messages app for Macs so I don't know what you did either. 😎
I guess I should have been more specific. There is no standalone app. That is a Google Play app that runs in Chrome. 😎
