Your IPhone can’t be backed up.

Hello .

My phone gave the same notification awhile ago so I decided to buy some extra iCloud storage .

My phone has a 256GB storage yet I have only used up 60.2GB

I recently purchased a 50GB plan yet my files in the cloud are 17.1GB .

What could be the issue ?

Hello Denflykin,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. We understand that you're having issue backing up to iCloud. You may need to contact iCloud Support for help in resolving this, but to start troubleshooting, have you tried the suggestions provided in article, If you can't back up to iCloud - Apple Support? If not, give them a try and see if any of the suggestions help.

If a message says that your last backup couldn't be completed

1. In iOS or iPadOS, go to Settings > Wi-Fi. Check that you're connected to Wi-Fi.

2. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. Download and install any available updates for your device.

3. Try to back up on another Wi-Fi network.

4. Check to make sure that you have enough iCloud storage for the backup

5. If you still need help, contact Apple Support.

Best regards.
