iCloud email

i am not receiving emails or info and my email keeps saying password or username for “iCloud” is incorrect


I checked out the 2 factor authentication thing and it’s on, but this is my main emil and I’m not receiving anything n it’s super frustrating

First check out this link to learn more about how to make sure the Apple ID you are trying to sign into is correct: If you forgot your Apple ID email address or phone number - Apple Support. This page provides different ways to check and verify what your Apple ID user name is.


Once you've verified you're working with the correct Apple ID, you'll want to move to trying to reset the Apple ID password. This page offers guidance on how to reset the password for your Apple ID: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support. You'll want to try the options that are offered in the order which they appear. Make sure to follow the steps exactly as they appear as well. You'll be provided steps for how to do the following:

    1. Reset your Apple ID password on your iPhone or other trusted Apple device
    2. Reset your Apple ID password with the Apple Support app on a borrowed device
    3. Reset your Apple ID password on the web
