Macbook Pro M2 for 3D Rendering? Does it run out of RAM quickly?

I remember with the Macbook Pro M1 it ran out of RAM really quickly. Like I had 20 tabs open on google chrome the computer would lag really bad.

I heard its from the new chip and the way the Mac stores RAM a different way?

My macbook air from 2017 can have like 40 tabs open and it runs just fine. So I returned that Macbook Pro with M1 chip.

How are the Macbook Pro M2 chips?

I don't know the processor speed, but it was the fastest one they had. I bought it because I needed something beefier to be able to use Adobe After Effects. Even with every upgrade possible, After Effects Rendering is still a lengthy process, sometimes taking 12 hours to render a 10 minute movie. Is there anything anyone can recommend to get more out of the computer? I looked into using extra SSD space as additional RAM but that appears to happen automatically. Of course the RAM is not upgradable. Purchasing a $5,000 Mac Pro for a hobby is out of the question.

Mac mini M2 pro poor performance I am about 5 months into using my Mac mini M2 16gigs of ram and I am finding it underwhelming. Barely handles even simple video editing tasks without lag. I have been using Macs for 30 years and something is just not right with these M2 chips and editing video or maybe it is the way they interact with Adobe products? Maybe I should have gotten 32 gigs of RAM? Not sure. I used the rotobrush in AE on a 1080 clip, which I know is a resource heavy task, but even with nothing else open, not even a browser, it was unable to process the clip. Photography is great, Lightroom is fast and stable. Video slow buggy and crashes.

Mac Mini M2 Won't Load 3D Models My M2 Mac Mini Pro won't load 3D Models. I've tried various modeling software applications and I always receive a blank screen. They work on my Macbook however. Any reason why this is happening? 16GB Memory 13.2.1 (22D68)
