Finding a word on a safari page

Find doesn't seem to actual find the word on the page

I'll type in a word to search for in the Find function and it recognizes that the word is in the document but once I click on it to take me to where the actual word is it doesn’t work. The word is right on the page I'm looking at and in other places in the document, but the function doesn't do anything.

I don't know why it's not working, but in the interest of ruling out possible causes, try this:

First tap Done to close the search field if it is open.

Then, tap and hold that word (or any other) and select Copy. If the word is un-selectable, it's a show-stopper right away because that document will not be searchable.

Then, Find on Page again and Paste it into the Search field. Does that work?

Example below.

What happens if you click the "up" or "down" arrows to the right of the Search field?

As you can see in the above it shows one match (it's on page 11). I don't know why it's not working for you. Yours shows zero when that text is obviously in that document.

Does it happen on all websites? If you bring up this Discussion and search for text, does searching for text work with it?
