If you're seeking to reset your Apple ID password, the steps listed below are specific for doing so if the Apple ID is signed in on an iOS or iPadOS device. You can also find these steps, along with additional steps for resetting your Apple ID password in the following article.

"Tap Settings > your name > Password & Security.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Forgot your password?
Tap Change or Change Password."
