Calendar shows only “No invitations”

I have followed the previous post and uninstalled my calendar app daily for the past week and it’s no longer fun.

When I open the calendar it says “no invitations” and won’t show me the daily, weekly or monthly calendar.

I have to default to teams or a paper calendar for reliable scheduling.

uninstall and reinstall is a fix I don’t really want to rely on. What is happening.

BTW… my computer is a windows PC and sometimes I’m not on that network for days at a time. Never mattered before… any suggestions?

Hey Thomaci,

If we understand correctly, on your Windows PC the Outlook app isn't updating your iCloud Calendar as expected, and removing the app and reinstalling helps to resolve it. If that's right, you mention that your PC isn't always connected to a network for days at a time. When you open Outlook, if you give it a few minutes does it eventually update? This can help to know if it's network related and just needs a moment to grab the information. When you remove and reinstall the app it grabs the most current data, which explains why that helps. Here's a guide on using the iCloud website, just in case: Sign in and use iCloud.com - Apple Support

To further help isolate this, does the calendar look correct when you view it using the iCloud website or your iPhone?

Keep us posted.

Take care!

Hello Thomaci,

You mentioned that you're not able to see the daily, weekly or monthly calendar as well. What exactly is happening when you open the Calendar app? Is the issue viewing the calendar with only the Outlook calendar or all calendars linked to your iPhone?

Also, make sure to go through the steps on this page to see if they help correct your issue: If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync - Apple Support. Make sure you complete the steps under the "Things to check first" before moving on to the other steps.

Things to check first

1. Check the system status of iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders for services outages or connection issues.
2. If a reminder isn't showing up on some of your devices, make sure that your iPhone and iPad have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, or that your Mac has the latest version of macOS.
3. Make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. Then, check that you turned on Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders in your iCloud settings.
4. Check that the date and time settings on your device are correct for your current location.

Best wishes!
