Audio clicking when recording video using external microphones

I have 2 iPhones 6 SE, one on 15.2 and second one on 15.7.1 iOS version. Sound was fine while I was on iOS 11, after upgrade (to iOS 15), the sound is full of random annoying clicks in audio. Just while using external mic (which has errorless sound on Windows notebooks, Sony DAT recorder, or Android phones). Seems the noise is something to do with camera and external mic connection (and of course with iOS version). There were similar issues opened year or two ago, but with no solution. How could support help?

Btw: there is no topic "iOS", to which this problem can be categorized.

It sounds like you've already isolated this behavior to the microphone itself as you're unable to recreate the same behavior when recording with your iOS devices without it, correct?

If that's the case, we'd suggest that you contact the manufacturer of your microphone to ensure that it can be used with the iOS version you're running on both iPhones. They'd be best suited to assist you.
