Hello dextergolf,

If you are looking to apply a grid over the Preview feature when taking photos with your iPad, this article explains that: Change advanced camera settings on your iPad - Apple Support. It explains: "To display a grid on the camera screen that can help you straighten and compose your shot, go to Settings > Camera, then turn on Grid.

After you take a photo, you can use the editing tools in the Photos app to further align shots and adjust horizontal and vertical perspective. See Straighten and adjust perspective."

If you are referring to a grid overlay on photos you've already taken, that is not available in the current iPadOS software but you may be able to find something that would work for you in the App Store.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
