16.1.2 is not a fix for that issue.

I have already updated to 16.1.2 in recovery mode. It didn't work.

Apple Community Forums is flooded with this issue. I don't understand why Apple is not doing anything about it and still asking all those lousy steps like hard reset, update to 16.1.2 and blah blah.

This upgrade broke existing functionality. Multiple issues (iPhone hangs & automatically restarts, WiFi drops, etc.) are being noted. Frustrating that Apple has not come up with a root cause and acknowledging this is an issue.

HAMZAELIA ~ Does your iPhone 8 Plus still have its original battery?
