Blacklisted iphone

So I got a iPhone 12 mini which o bought from a guy. It looked legit and all good. Once I purchased the device I discovered that the device is blacklisted and that the Face ID didn’t work. Everything else’s performs perfectly .I also discovered that it’s still under limited warranty and the battery health is still good meaning that the phone is kinda new or let’s say a few months old. However I discovered that the esim isn’t blacklisted . So my question is . Does anyone have advice ? Will apple repair my Face ID without checking the blacklist status. Does anyone has a iPhone using a esim so that I can scan the QR code and not use the physical sim.
