Ah the old " If your Mac says that a software update is required to connect to iPhone or iPad "
Was there this type of Pop up presented when the iDevice was Cabled to computer "
If so, suggest downloading the software which will allow the iDevice and computer to supposedly communicate with each other
Working fine on iOS 16.1.2 with iPhone 14 with 2 Apple Computers both running Ventura 13.0.1.
Try disabling the Calendar in Ventura
refer to below image
Then restart the computer and re-Enable Calendar again and allow enough time for it to Re-Sync again.
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it didn't solve my problem, because i don't keep any data in the cloud. I directly sync between my notebook and tablet/phone. I think the sync doesn't work because of the new software. Either its a fault either of ventura or ios 16. Because before I installed the new software everything worked fine. Now I wait and see. If apple does not correct the problem I will have to go analog with my calendar. Regards
Thanks and sorry, I wasn't clear in my last reply to you. I can synchronise everything between mac and iphone/ipad, with the exception of the calendar. There really is no connection problem. When I start the sync it shows on the bottom line that calendar is being synchronized and there appears absolutely no error message. But the calendar data simply does not reach resp. update on the iphone/ipad. That means that the software tells me it executes something when in fact nothing is being done.
