iPhone 13 Pro unusable for microscope imaging

I got accustomed to mounting my iPhone XS over the eyepiece of a microscope & could easily generate a useful image. This doesn't work with my iPhone 13 Pro. I'm guessing that the LIDAR/multi lens imaging is interfering with this. Is there a way to turn off the LIDAR & limit the camera to using a single lens, manual focus??

Pathologist needs help to use iPhone 14 Pro Max to take microscopic pictures through microscope eyepiece. As suggested by @iphonepathologist I have tried Portrait mode on my Iphone 14 Pro Max for taking microscopic photos through the eye piece of my microscope, I was only able to take some decent 400X photos, low and medium power were imposible. I am a pathologist and through the years have taken several thousands (22,000 +) pictures of interesting cases with prior models of iPhones (with the camara in "normal" mode), the last one an 11 Pro. With a litlle practice it was very easy to take pictures through the eyepiece, some sligth edditing and they were ready for presentations and even publications. With the iPhone 14 Pro Max I can not focus or regulate the camera lens apperture for microscopic pictures, it is crazy. I actually updated the iPhone expecting, among other things, better microscopic pictures. I know of several (I suspect hundreds) pathologist arround the world that use their iPhones at work every day. Please help me out to "crack" this issue. Thank you

Performance of 3 lenses In my iPhone 13Pro I did an experiment to check the activity of all 3 Lenses, if i close lower lens & upper lense , automatically middle lense will start to capture the image; if i close middle lens and upper lense , lower lense will start but when i close middle and lower lenses upper lense will not start ; can any expert tell me how upper lense helps us in capturing the brilliant photos or whether upper lense is of no use ?

Switching lense of camara from distance to close i noticed when I take photos with the iPhone 15 the pictures are blurry in the distance is there any way to have definition with both distance and up close. My iPhone 12 did this. Is their a button I need to toggle?
