Adjust sensitivity of track pad?

When I hover over an object with a hotlink a box pops up showing the complete URL and covers much of the surrounding material. Can adjust the sensitivity to address this issue?

Hello RochNYguy,

There is no setting to adjust the "sensitivity" of the trackpad, if you touch it, it's going to respond. However, you can adjust the tracking speed if you'd like your mouse pointer to move faster or slower. You can adjust that by going to System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click tab > Tracking Speed.
