Why does my slide show repeat?

I have set up my slide show with a them and music but if doesn't stop after the last image. How do I get it to stop? If I set it to play as long as the music I have selected, will that do it? Thanks.

Each slide duration is 5 seconds, and set to run automatically. I added the first song untrimmed from Music for the first section, but the songs fades out and stops 2 seconds into the second slide. I tried a different song from Music and it stops at the same spot in the second slide. I work with a copy of the original presentation because I don't want to screw up the original file until I can get the music to work. Prevent music from playing automatically in memories slideshow When starting a slide show, music starts automatically. I HATE that. I followed instructions to uncheck the music after it has started, but it doesn't work. I can see how someone might want music with their slide show, but I don't. There should be a preference: no music with slide shows.

how do i make a slide show without music I want to make a video slideshow without music. Not sure how to delete the music automatically provided.

Hey Photogirl53,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. As mentioned in Create slideshows in Photos on Mac - Apple Support, there should be a loop button. Click that to turn loop off so that your slideshow ends after the last photo.
