My worst first experience at iShop

Since a young age I have always dreamt about an iPhone, so naturally I had android. 2 days ago I decided I was going to make my self happy and an early Christmas gift, so I bough a brand new 13 pro max. I was thrilled. But in my first adventure with iOS I find difficulties trying to pass my WhatsApp info to the new phone, I almost tried 4 times. So by the 5th I decided that may be I need to ask for help by the people that might know. To my disappointment, a guy from de iShop treated me horrible, like I was some sort of dumb girl by replying “it can’t be done”. And that’s it. I tried to explain him that there must be a way, but simply and quite obnoxious said to me “iOS devices are different from android **while rolling his eyes**. You just have to deal with it and lost your information and start brand new” I was offended, never the less I tried to said something that what are the options to actually make myself, and he just turn around ignoring me. I’m quite disappointed in this experience, I was hoping for a new start with the phone I always dreamed, and in the end I just get home angry. At. I did it myself it can be done by the way. But this attention to costumers make me re think if it was actually worth it.

You are in the wrong place.

You are not addressing Apple here. We are a community of your fellow end users and cannot do anything about any customer service issues. We are not Apple employees or agents.

You need to complain to the iShop manager. If iShop is really an authorized Apple reseller— and the employee's flippant response sounds like they are not—then you can bring Apple into the discussion.

But there is no resolution of this issue possible through these forums regardless of the shop's status with Apple.

You can get free technical help here from other users, but you need to post in the "Using iPhone" section:

remembering that this is not the complaint department.
