What to do when you are in an unknown gap between Apple and AIG?

My iPhone was locked when I started filling a lost claim, which I cancelled few hours later, since the device was found. AIG informed it would be restored in 24h but so far 9 days has passed and iPhone is still locked. I talked with several seniors advisors from Apple and they say the phone was locked by AIG, and I have to call them. I call AIG and they say they cancelled the claim so, if iPhone remais locked, I have to call Apple Support. I drove to a physical Apple Store and a technical couldn’t unlock the phone. What else I can do?

As far as my knowledge goes Apple Inc does not lock any iPhone if it is lost or lost and found later.

If you are the owner or the owner has shared all information with you then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Learn how to remove a device from a previous owner's account.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (the owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.

Hi SravanKrA. I do appreciate your contribution.

I am the owner and my phone was locked under the support of AppleCare+ with Theft and Lost assistance. The “theft and lost” part is done by a third party, AIG insurance and I only became aware of that when I needed to use the resource I paid for.

Im sending a print of the page AIG says phone would be restored in 24 hours… but 10 days has passed already… and I am in the cycle I explained already.

I requested a support for Activation Lock 6 day ago and so far no reply from Apple for this case. I have been contacting Apple Support by chat and they say there is a specific team to treat this and I have to wait they contact me. I heard different deadlines already: 3, 10 and also 30day!
