iPhone 13 Pro battery drain

My iPhone 13 Pro is almost a year old since yesterday my battery drains at about 1 percent per minute so it’s lasting less than 2 hours and that’s if I don’t use it at all if I use it it drains in minutes. I was on iOS15 but upgraded to the latest version to see if it would help. Also did hard restart several times removed apps turned off all background apps. It’s only been an issue since this morning…anyone else?

Hello,

Hmm, could be a rogue app constantly running, but a restart will usually cure that.

With any new version of iOS there are always maintenance and re-indexing tasks to be performed. It should settle down in a few days. These are the standard steps for short battery life:

1) Have you tried a restart?  If not, do it now.

2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.

3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:

iPhone Battery and Performance

So, just monitor it for a few days :-)

Good luck.
