WhatsApp developers there is an important bug. The indication for microphone to use is not the one of my iPhone. Having installed an appli for my hearing aids, WhatsApp indicates the microphone of my hearing aids instead of my iPhone SE

If you are really still running iOS 13 as per the footer, your iPhone is way behind. IOS 15.7.1 or iOS 16.1.2 would be expected. Update to the most current iOS available for your particular iPhone SE, and try your tests again.
