My watch thinks I'm asking it something. Voiceover is OFF.

I work in a library and, often, when I'm conversing with a student, my Watch thinks I'm talking to it and starts answering. Very distracting. I haven't even said 'hey Siri'.

There's a good chance you said something which was close enough to Hey Siri, your watch thought you were addressing it. To make sure, turn Hey Siri off on your watch. You can still bring Siri up with using Hey Siri. If it stops, you have your answer.

Easiest way to turn Listen for Hey Siri off is to open the Watch App on your iPhone. My Watch > Siri > Turn off Liste for Hey Siri.
