Hi sant19,

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

If you see a Process Name in Activity Monitor called Universal Control, you most likely have the Universal Control feature enabled.

You can learn more about Universal Control here: Universal Control: Use a single keyboard and mouse between Mac and iPad - Apple Support

If you would like to disable it, here's how.

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences).
  2. Click Displays.
  3. If using macOS Ventura or later, click the Advanced button at the bottom of the settings window.
  4. Turn off “Allow your pointer and keyboard to move between any nearby Mac or iPad.” Leave the other Universal Control settings turned on for now.

Take care!
