The following troubleshooting steps may help if you are noticing unexpected blurry lines or other issues with your MacBook Pro display. 


  1. Restart your Mac
  2. Update your Mac
  3. If you are using an external display, reset the connections and restart the display before trying to connect again. This resource will help, if needed with reconnecting, Connect a display to your Mac - Apple Support
  4. Test the issue when your Mac is started in safe mode
  5. Change your display settings to test if using a different resolution or refresh rate resolves the issue.
