How can I transfer music from an old iPod touch to an iPhone 13?

I need to download music from my old iPod touch and transfer it to my new iPhone? I no longer have access to the original computer I used for the iPod sync.

When I connect the iPod to a new MacBook Air, the option to “Sync” via Music tells me that the content on the iPod will be deleted and content from the new MBA will sync onto the iPod.

The other option of trying to recover Music via Finder does not work either. I do not see an option to “download” music from the iPod.

Thoughts?

Sorry, but transferring music from an iPod to the computer has never been an option, unless you purchased the music from the iTunes Store.

There is no native way to transfer music from the iPod to a computer. There are third party apps that will do that, however. Do a search on Transfer music from iPod to computer.
