Mac mini M1 accident
Good morning, I would like to describe a problem from today that happened to me today. I turned on the Mac M1 and after logging in everything was ok. Suddenly the monitor (LG WP500) showed noise on the screen (photo). I didn't know what was going on. I scanned my computer thinking it might be a virus but no. The Bluetooth keyboard and the mouse did not respond, I had to connect other USB ones. There was also some hissing noise from Mac. When deleting anything that I typed on the USB keyboard, e.g. in google, the sound (crystal) appeared all the time and repeated even when I did not touch the keyboard. I had to press ESC until it stopped the looping sound repeating itself over and over again. I went to the Ispot showroom and asked if I could connect and check the Mac. It turned out that everything worked so I could not return it for repair. So I came home thinking maybe it was the HDMI cable. So I hooked up the equipment to the TV and it turned out that everything works. The only option left was that maybe something was wrong with the monitor. So I connected a Lenovo Laptop to the monitor and it turned out that the Monitor works. I thought that maybe something happened in the morning and everything will be ok. I was sure that monitor, HDMI cable and Mac mini were working. I plugged everything in and the problem was still there. I have reset the monitor to factory settings but that didn't help. I went into MAC settings/Display resolution and set it to 3840x2160 The picture was blurry but no more noise so I clicked back to my 2560x1080 setting and the problem was gone. I've been using a MAC for over 2 years and have never had a situation like this. I don't know if the problem will reoccur.
