Hi folks, does anybody have the same issue, they lost my watch during shipping and neither Apple nor UPS wants to help blaming each other. The wach was nearly new and died suddenly.
Any help is appreciated!

If you are in the US and you have proof you gave your watch to UPS, UPS is responsible for delivering it. Elevate this with UPS. Even if Apple paid for the shipping, the loss is up to UPS to resolve.
That’s true in theory, what scares me is the unwillingness of apple to help. Meanwhile we figured out, that the UPS diver mixed somehow parcels and documents and many shipments ended up at wrong adresses. My watch was sent to a bavarian company which sent it back to me free of charge. Seems that all parcels made their way back but without the assistance of UPS or apple. Yesterday I sent the watch again to apple. If apple is able to return the fixed watch, I will put it in Ebay starting at 1€. Shame on apple service. Whether the sender or the shipper is responsible for losses depends on your country of residence.
Check your national or state laws.
i'm in denmark, if the transport company lose your product they are solely responsible, pretty sure those are general eu laws.
it may differ from country to country but in mine when the sender in this case apple get a signature from the transpoter the responsibility is placed on the transpoter until they have a verified deliver

Thanks for Your answer. Apple ordered pickup with UPS and it seems that UPS mixed a couple of parcels. Nobody knows, where my watch finally ended. UPS tells me that I can not do anything because Apple is the contractor and Apple refuses to help. My lawyer says, opening a case against Apple will cost more than the watch. Last Apple service with my Iphone created similar issues an it took weeks to get a brand new phone fixed. I just wonder if anybody else has similar experience with Apple. One can get lousy service for less money
