I was advised by Apple to backup my device and ‘start again’ as things weren’t working after iOS 16.
I created a backup but didn’t encrypt it and save it to my laptop.
now it’s asking for a password which I never set. If I did I would have used my regular password……………as it’s backed up to the pc all is lost as I can’t input a password I have never assigned.
Help!

I’ll give it a whirl, going write all the possibilities down and go 1 by 1!!!!
Best of luck. You might even try a blank password, if it lets you.
