Not powering down when certain apps are open

I’ve noticed well my solitaire app is open my iPhone 14 will not power down on its own. I feel this is a serious security issue, as anyone can pickup my phone and have access to everything.

I assume you mean the screen doesn't lock? That's very different from the phone powering off.

Delete and reinstall the app. If it continues to misbehave contact the app developer.

Meanwhile, get into the habit of tapping the power key when you set the phone down.

Good to hear. An app that prevented the phone from actually powering down would be one I'd take off my phone for good.
