Hi temry,

Based on the questions in your original post, we recommend that you check out the article via the link below and read the section titled "Turn on Airplane Mode."

Use Airplane Mode on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support

Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPod touch, or on your iPad, then tap the Airplane Mode button iPhone Airplane Mode icon. You can also go to Settings and select Airplane Mode to turn it on.

On your Apple Watch, touch and hold the bottom of the screen until you see Control Center, then swipe up, and tap the Airplane Mode button Watch Airplane Mode icon. You can also go to Settings and tap Airplane Mode.

You can set your iPhone and Apple Watch to mirror the Airplane Mode setting of the other device. Go to the Watch app on your iPhone, then tap General > Airplane Mode > Mirror iPhone.

When you turn on Airplane Mode, it turns off all radios except for Bluetooth. If you turn off Bluetooth while you're in Airplane Mode, your device will remember the next time you turn on Airplane Mode.

We recommend the information in the article above because it explains what happens when you turn on Airplane Mode on your Apple Watch. Also, to be clear, GPS and tracking your sleep will not work as expected on your Apple Watch if Airplane mode has been enabled.

Please do not hesitate to reach back out to us if you have more questions.
