Password Icon or Shortcut On Desktop

Hey Community,


Simple question (I think) that I was unable to find an answer to with a quick search.


How can I place a desktop shortcut (icon) on my MAC Desktop so that I do not have to dig into settings every time I want to manually add or make password adjustments.

I figured that might be the case. It is mot mission critical, simply a convenience request. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.


It is not the Lock Screen that is the issue, it is the extra clicks. I want to click and do directly to the Passwords in stead of Settings, scroll, then Passwords.


I was able to use shortcuts on my iDevices to create an "icon" but cannot could not figure out a method to do this on the MAC (with Ventura).
