Hi. I have an Apple TV HD. Earlier it was no problem to let the Apple TV remote turn on and off my TV and sound system. After I was away from home for two months, this does not work anymore. Now the point in the settings for letting the remote control the home-theather, is set on «off». Its not possible to activate «on». On my Samsung TV the setting for Anynet+ is activated. On my Denon receiver the setting for ARC is activated
Thank you for your reply. After I posted this, Apple support suggested i changed the HDMI cable. This solved the problem. By doing this I did what you suggested, reconnected the HDMI-connection. If the problem occurs again, I will follow your advice, just disconnect and reconnect. Thanks again🌷

Now the point in the settings for letting the remote control the home-theather, is set on «off». Its not possible to activate «on».
This setting should be configurable if CEC supporting devices are detected, i.e. with CEC turned on.
Try resetting the HDMI connection, by disconnecting the HDMI cables on both sides, then reconnect. Else power down (not sleep/standby) all HDMI devices, then start up again and retry.
On my Samsung TV the setting for Anynet+ is activated.

ARC is not directly involved with CEC. Does this Denon have settings for CEC in its menu?
