VPN issues

Hi Since recently updating my iPhone 12 I keep getting popups all day that say my Network is Suspicious and to turn on VPN . It says “VPN connection error” VPN is having trouble connecting to the Network ” Then another pop up that says “Your connection has failed Please try agsin@. I do have a Norton 360 VPN which automatically turns on when needed. I noticed that there is a second “Personal VPN “ that still says Norton 360 but it says the “Type” is IKEv2 then it says it’s from us.surfeasy.mobile. I don’t even know where this came from. Is this what is causing my constant popups that my network is having and do I delete the personal VPN? I’m attaching screen shot photos . I appreciate your help. I’m not tech savvy and don’t want to mess things up more. Thanks!

I would go further than ASTRO24, and strongly suggest delete ALL VPN and don’t reinstall it. VPN provides pretty much no benefit, and can cause problems like you are experiencing. And Norton 360 also provides no real benefit, and is regarded by some experts as very close to being malware itself.

What DOES make sense is to subscribe to iCloud+ if you don’t already, and use Apple’s iCloud Private Relay feature→Browse the web in a more secure and private way with iCloud Private Relay - Apple Support

Hi luvpatch,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're getting several errors with your VPN and an unknown VPN connection on your iPhone. We would advise to delete the unknown VPN, restart your iPhone and then check for the error with only your VPN enabled. If this continues, remove your VPN and add it back in Settings.

Regards.
