I’m asking if anyone has ever been able to add an American Express card to their Apple Pay wallet?

No such thing as an Apple Pay account.

When you add the card to Wallet it can then be used in supported stores and merchants with Apple Pay. Apple Pay is a payment mechanism, it has no accounts and you don't add cards to it. You use cards added to the Wallet app to pay through it.

What exactly is happening then? If its been added to the Wallet App, then it can be used with Apple Pay.

The Apple Card and your Amex card are two separate cards. You can't link them together.

You can user your Amex Card with Apple Pay, and you can use the Apple Card with Apple Pay also, but they remain separate cards.

Are you asking about an AMEX card? Or an Apple Card? It almost sounds as if you're asking how to connect the two which isn't possible. You can't pay an Apple Card bill with another credit card:

Are you asking how to set up your AMEX card as the funding instrument for Apple Cash? If so, that's not going to work as Apple Cash requires a debit card.

No. Where are you seeing this? As has been said, The Apple Card and your AMEX Card are entirely separate credit cards, you don't link one to the other, in any way.

That would be like saying you want to link your Amex card with a Visa card from your Bank or, a Master Card from a store for example. They separate things and cannot be linked.

I think you are confusing the Apple Card with something else. The Apple Card is a credit card just like your AMEX card. You apply for it just like any other credit card. It is not tied to another credit card at all.

Again I ask where are you seeing that this is possible. You keep saying that the iPhone can do it, but you show nothing in relation to it, and there is no Apple document that states this is possible.

I'm pretty certain you are confusing things.

There is no way to link your American Express credit card to Apple's Golmdan Sachs Apple Credit Card. They are 2 separate and distinct things.
